It is longer in length and has longer sleeves... but we did taper it in a tiny bit so its not too much fabric. Its perfect!! xsmall fits: 12 years - Womens Petite

small fits size: 0 - 8

medium fits size: 8 - 16

Large fits size: 16 - 3X

(because the dress is so flowy, its best to size through your shoulders... that is the only fitted part of the dress....  the rest is flowy and fits oh so flattering on all body types. If you are in-between sizes, most people size down, unless they have broad shoulders.)
